Sports & Recreation Connection's winter adult co-ed volleyball season is starting in January. Registration begins next week! You can put your own team together or sign up as a "free agent." Thanks for checking my post. I have loved volleyball. I have played recreationally and on teams. It has been some time since I have been able to play consistantly. I have lost some speed and timing and want to get it back.

I would appreciate the opportunity to play again. I can also add to a beginning team as I like to assist others in learning the game and in techniques.

I have never played an organized games for a league or anyhting however I would love to start. I have played in the advanced class at Mount Hood Community College with the girls team every spring for the past 3 years and have excelled in that. After my first year the head coach asked me to come back each year to help her players. I would love to try to play on a men's net and in a more competative league possibly. I have no clue where to look/start in this, so thats why I'm here....

Where's the beach volleyball?

I just moved to Portland from Chapel Hill, North Carolina and NEED to find some beach/sand volleyball! I have been playing beach competitively for the past 8 years and also played my fair share of indoor prior to that. I play at the open/A level in North Carolina, and this level was consistent with the level of Grass volleyball in Seattle. If anybody would let me know of any places they regularly have pick-up and when people usually seem to be playing, I would greatly appreciate it....

Moving to Portland to start my masters in September. Presently, I play power in a club league in Toronto and beach 2s. I'll be living downtown. Not sure where to look for good ball, so any tips or leads would help. I'm only looking for quality games. If you're not running plays, I probably won't be interested. But try me anyway, I need to start playing somewhere. I prefer playing left side, but I'm just as good at right.
